News & EventsThere are reactions to situations that are deemed unwise at the time, only to be justified in the end. Trade legend has it that during the depths of the recession in '92, Kit Chapman from The Castle at Taunton called his staff to a meeting to discuss the fortunes of his business, the trade and how he could combat the predicted downturn. The Pigs at Edgefield continues to boom, with loads of you discovering "real British pub food" at its very best.
