Launched October 2007: The Opitz Room - our new Kitchen Theatre Table.

This sumptuous table, completely exclusive in the county, boasts a superb viewing area of the bustling kitchen whilst enjoying an exclusive menu created by Chef Proprietor Richard Hughes and Head Chef Richard Knights. Our intention is to make the evening truly memorable. The Opitz Room will offer a fixed 9-course tasting menu, with two accompanying wine packages available. One of the wine flights offers a chance to sample the tremendous wine of Austrian winemaker and bon-viveur, Willi Opitz.

Whichever package you choose, we will get your evening off to a fantastic start with a complimentary glass of champagne and a selection of beautiful canapés, whilst we chat about the forthcoming menu. You can, of course, choose from our usual extensive wine list.

The Opitz Room boasts air-conditioning, a bespoke granite table, leather seating and the finest china and glassware. We will provide you with a commemorative menu and you may even have the chance to help in the kitchen! This has to be the ultimate night out for anyone who loves good food!

Prices per person are inclusive of VAT.
The private room will attract a 10% service charge.
On making the reservation we will ask you to confirm the number of guests, and ask you to complete the booking form. We will also ask if you wish to select either of our two wine flights.
The sample menus attached are an indicator of what to expect but do vary from time to time due to market availability.
